Community Guidelines

Sysslor is built for families. These guidelines help each community stay safe, respectful, and useful, whether you are coordinating one household, extended family, or trusted neighbours.

1. Who Sysslor Is For

Sysslor is designed for families and small trusted groups: households, extended family, neighbours, and similar close-knit communities.

Communities on Sysslor are private. Only invited members can join. Each community manages its own membership, tasks, and culture.

2. Expected Behaviour

Be respectful. Treat all community members, adults and children alike, with patience and courtesy.

Be honest. Mark chores as completed only when they are genuinely finished. The ledger and accountability system depend on everyone participating in good faith.

Be responsible. If you commit to a chore, follow through. If you cannot complete it, release it so someone else can claim it.

Respect privacy. Do not share another family's chore details, balances, or membership information outside the community.

3. Community Roles

Admin: Sets up and manages the community, membership, chore types, and settings.

Parent: Creates chores, assigns tasks, approves completed chores, and helps run the community day to day.

Kid: Claims available chores, marks them completed, and earns rewards with transparency and good faith.

Admins are responsible for assigning appropriate roles. If you believe your role is incorrect, contact your community admin.

4. Zero Tolerance

The following are not allowed:

  • Harassment, bullying, or intimidation of any community member
  • Sharing content that is sexually explicit, violent, illegal, or unsafe for children
  • Impersonating another community member
  • Deliberately exploiting bugs or attempting to access encrypted content belonging to another community
  • Using Sysslor's chore or ledger system for fraudulent purposes

Community admins have authority to remove members who violate these guidelines. Sysslor may suspend accounts for severe or repeated violations.

5. Children and Families

Sysslor is designed with families in mind. Children may use the service inside a parent-managed family community.

Parents and admins are responsible for:

  • Ensuring children understand these guidelines
  • Monitoring their children's use of the app
  • Setting age-appropriate chore expectations and rewards

6. Reporting Issues

If you encounter behaviour that violates these guidelines:

  1. Contact your community admin first. They can resolve most community-level issues.
  2. If the admin is the problem or cannot resolve the issue, contact adminstration@chooli.com.

When reporting, include:

  • Your community name
  • A description of the issue
  • Relevant dates, chore references, or other context

7. Consequences

Community admins determine consequences inside their community. Consequences may include:

  • A private reminder about expected behaviour
  • Temporary suspension of chore privileges
  • Removal from the community

For severe or repeated violations, Sysslor may suspend or terminate accounts under the Terms of Service.

8. Admin Responsibilities

As a community admin, you are a steward of your community's culture. We ask admins to:

  • Lead by example and follow these guidelines yourself
  • Be fair and consistent in enforcement
  • Communicate expectations clearly to all members
  • Respect privacy, including encrypted family chore content

Admin tools are provided to help manage your community. Use them responsibly.

9. A Note on Encryption

Chore details inside your community are end-to-end encrypted. Sysslor cannot read, moderate, or recover encrypted content. Community self-governance is essential. Learn more about encryption.
