1. Our Privacy Principles
- We collect only what the service needs to function.
- We do not sell personal data.
- Chore content is end-to-end encrypted and cannot be read by Sysslor.
- Encryption keys are generated and held exclusively on your devices.
Sysslor is built with privacy-by-design. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Account data: username, optional email address, optional display name, and encrypted password hash.
Community data: community names, member roles, and membership associations.
Operational data: schedule rules, assignment targets, occurrence status, ledger balances, and reward transactions needed to run the service.
Encrypted data: chore names, descriptions, template instructions, notes, and occurrence display content. This data is unreadable by the server.
Device data: push notification tokens, app version, platform, and error reports needed for reliability and notifications.
We use data to provide the service, authenticate users, sync chores, manage assignments, track rewards, send notifications, improve reliability, and enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
We do not sell personal data. We share data only when required by law, to protect Sysslor or users, or with service providers needed to operate Sysslor, such as hosting, database, authentication, and push notification providers.
Sysslor stores service data in the European Union. We retain account and community data while your account is active. After account deletion, operational metadata is deleted within a reasonable period unless retention is required by law. Encrypted chore content cannot be recovered if all devices lose the relevant keys.
Passwords are hashed, communications use HTTPS/TLS, and chore content is encrypted on your device before reaching the server. Payment processing, if introduced, is handled by Apple or Google; Sysslor does not receive full payment card details.
Sysslor is designed for community use. Children may use the service inside a parent-managed community. Parents and admins are responsible for managing children's participation and settings.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact adminstration@chooli.com. Encrypted chore content cannot be exported or recovered by Sysslor because we do not hold the encryption keys.
For EEA and UK users, we process personal data based on contractual necessity, legitimate interests such as security and reliability, legal obligations, and consent where required for optional features.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email, in-app notice, or this website.
